SMC Net Zero – Achieving net-zero through innovation in small and medium-sized cities

While larger cities have had access to various programmes and networks to accelerate their transition, SMCs have often been left behind. That’s why we’ve partnered with experts from across Europe to specifically address this issue and provide SMCs with the resources they need to decarbonize.

SMC NetZero is an 18-month Horizon Europe project that focuses on creating and strengthening local innovation ecosystems in SMCs and creating a Satellite Network of innovation actors including public sector representatives from Small and Medium-sized cities (SMCs), SMEs, academia, NGOs and investors across Europe.

The project consortium consists of seven partners: BABLE Smart Cities, ODRAZ, Smart City Cluster, Southern Regional Assembly, BLOXHUB, We Build Denmark and Urban DNA.
