Plan and combine! EU policies for better urban mobility planning

The aim of the project was to improve the quality of life of citizens by encouraging sustainable, clean and energy efficient ways of mobility in the city and encourage multimodality.


Promoting sustainable mobility by educating students and young people and linking relevant stakeholders in the area of mobility and traffic in the city of Zagreb, learning from examples of good practice and informing about new European trends in the field of sustainable mobility.


    1. Two-day education on sustainable mobility planning for students of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences Sciences, Faculty of Architecture, Geographical Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (Spatial Planning and Regional Development) and Faculty of Forestry (Urban Forestry, Nature and Environmental Protection) and younger representatives of associations
    2. Study tour and workshops for the members CIVINET network
    3. Organizing a panel discussion on sustainable urban mobility for relevant stakeholders, with a focus on multimodality
    4. Information and Promotion – regular information through ODRAZ information channels (web, FB, e-newsletters) and cooperation with journalists


    Target groups of the project were citizens of Zagreb – students, young representatives of relevant associations, traffic experts, spatial planners, activists and all stakeholders interested and active in promoting and achieving sustainable transport solutions.
