Panel discussion „Innovations for better mobility in the city“ held in Zagreb
On 19th of September 2017, ODRAZ organized a panel discussion “Innovations for better mobility in the city” within the project “Mobility Dialogue in Zagreb” together with the Network for Sustainable Urban Mobility CIVINET Slovenia-Croatia-SEE. As part of the discussion, we announced the winners of the 6th photo contest “Mobility in my city”. With this event the European Mobility Week was marked.
Some 40 participants from Zagreb, Koprivnica, Rijeka and Sarajevo attended the event and listened the presentation of panelists Ante Klečina from the Alliance for Railways, Krešimir Dvorski from Nextbike Croatia and Ivan Šimunec from Mobilita Evolva, all CIVINET members.
The participants actively participated in the discussion after the presentations, and most discussed was the topic related to integrated transport of passengers.
The moderator of the discussion was ODRAZ’s director Lidija Pavić-Rogošić.
The discussion was concluded by Ivan Šimunec: “Citizen participation in decision-making and designing the cities is an inevitable precondition for the purpose of shaping urban environments to suit human beings. We live, work and spend time in the city, so the city should be in the function of its people.”
