ODRAZ held two workshops in Split on sustainable development and their implementation at the local level

On 5th and 7th of October 2020, ODRAZ held a workshop on the principles and goals of sustainable development and their implementation at the local level.

The first workshop was intended for representatives of associations from various fields, LAGs (local action groups), tourist boards, high schools, the private sector, etc.

The second workshop on the same topic was for representatives of the public sector.

The aim of the workshop held on 5 October 2020 was to increase the capacity of local stakeholders and work on identifying and better involving and agreeing on the implementation of sustainable development goals in Split.

    The aim of the workshop held on October 7, 2020 was to increase the capacity of local stakeholders and work on identifying and better involving and agreeing on the implementation of sustainable development goals in Split and surrounding local governments.We conducted the workshop in cooperation with the City of Split within the project “Shaping Fair Cities” – integration of the 2030 Agenda, which aims to develop goals and activities related to the UN Agenda 2030 and the implementation of sustainable development goals. In addition, the aim is to raise awareness, improve understanding and more active involvement of local self-government, associations and citizens in identifying sustainable development goals relevant to the local area.
