ODRAZ as a co-organizer of World bank consultations for Croatia Country Partnership Framework 2019-2023
The World Bank Group has started preparing its new partnership framework with Croatia for the period 2019-2023. This process includes countrywide consultations to hear diverse views from stakeholders on Croatia’s economic and social challenges and on ways the World Bank Group can help address them most effectively. ODRAZ was co-organizer of consultations in Slavonski Brod, Sisak, Knin, Split and Zagreb
The Country Partnership Framework (CPF) outlines areas of strategic assistance to the country, prioritizing and aligning the institution’s support to Croatia’s development agenda. This process includes countrywide consultations with central and local government representatives, parliamentarians, private sector, civil society and non-governmental organizations, international financial institutions, the diplomatic community and academia.
Consultations included both face-to-face meetings and online consultations with a broad range of stakeholders.
As part of stakeholder consultations for the Country Partnership Strategy, a series of meetings were held in September and October 2018 with local authorities, civil and academic sector, and business community to solicit their views and opinions on development priorities and challenges facing Croatia. Meetings were held across the country in Slavonski Brod, Sisak, Split, Knin and Zagreb. ODRAZ was co-organizer of the meetings.
