Fourth training block about Sustainable development and Organising community was held in School for graphics, design and media production in Zagreb

Within project ‘Sustainable development starts with youth’, on 24th and 25th Februrary 2020, ODRAZ organised fourth training block of Modular training programme in School for graphics, design and media production in Zagreb. In education participated 25 representatives of The First School of Economics Zagreb, School for graphics, design and media production in Zagreb and other representatives of interesetd high schools and civil society form Zagreb.

Within education, which will have 5 modular training-blocks in period since September 2019. untill April 2020., ODRAZ will educate teachers about concept of sustainable development and its importance for society, represet possibility of how could schools activate in sustainable development and in which mean teachers can transfer learned to students.

Except teachers from partner schools, on fourth training, representatives of School for road transport and School of agriculture have also participated.

    During first day after introduction, Marko Stančec presentet the process of writing and creating the project. The writing was presented in several steps, among others, first step was about basic terms and their distinction. In second part, to participants was presented the budget determination.

    Second day was reseverd for Social-learning, which was presented by Bojana Ćulum Ilić, professor on Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka. Participants were introduced with the method of social-learning, which enables students to apply learned knowledge and acquired skills to different projects, and in that way contribute in developing community.

    Except the presentation, participants have been grouped and worked in groups in which they come up with many solutions and ideas. On first day, they used retrieved informations to create project and afterwards present it to other groups. During second day, participants also worked in groups on how to activate their students in community by applying knowledge learned in school.
