Kad ODRASTEM – Reflection of Science for a STEM Future
[ONGOING] The project will enhance the capacities and competencies of associations in the STEM field, establish long-term collaboration with academic institutions, and encourage students’ interest in STEM careers. It will also contribute to the popularization of science among the general population.
Various activities, such as training, study visits, the STEM academy, and mentoring support, will enable participants to acquire practical knowledge and skills. Meanwhile, numerous workshops for students and public events will help promote STEM in the community.

Project Activities
(1) Strengthening CSOs’ capacities for STEM promotion and implementation among students, as well as collaboration with higher education and educational institutions
- Participation in training related to enhancing capacities for conducting STEM activities among children and students
- Study visits to national organizations engaged in innovative STEM presentation methods

Project results
- A representative of Kolektiv 4B attended specialized training on the basics of using AI-based applications, improving their knowledge and competencies for conducting STEM activities among children and students.
- Study visits conducted to organizations that apply innovative STEM presentation methods (Geo Info Center Papuk, PISMO Business Incubator/gaming center Novska, Milutin Milanković Science Center in Dalj, Višnjan Science and Education Center, Višnjan Observatory, Geospatial Laboratory Zadar).
- STEM Academy implemented – 12 training sessions for 26 representatives from partner schools, universities, and CSOs, focusing on practical STEM skills.
- 10 partner representatives participated in a mentoring program, receiving continuous support from experts at partner higher education institutions.
- 16 thematic workshops for students conducted, covering topics such as climate change, AI, robotics, drones, 3D modeling, digital content creation, data science, and design thinking
- 240 STEM workshops conducted for 3,000 students in partner schools in Zagreb, Križevci, and Sveti Ivan Žabno, as well as for other interested schools through a public call.
- 24 public events organized to promote STEM.
- Communication and Visibility – Promotional materials distributed to students;60 activity posts and 8 posts about ESF+ support published; One paid advertisement campaign was conducted; Regular updates via partners’ communication channels; Continuous collaboration with the media; Three short videos (up to 3 minutes) recorded; 30 promotional videos published; Press releases issued
